If I had a lot of money and for some reason needed a small CUV this would be on the short list for sure, interior looks fucking nice.

The Macan is the best looking CUV ever!

it does look really good
and the smaller size makes it seem like more of a "real porsche" than the cayenne

I want to drive one. I've driven a 1st gen Cayenne, and it in no way feels like a SUV. I bet the Macan is spectacular.

There wouldn't even be a need for a list. If I had a lot of money and wanted a small CUV, I'd go buy the Macan, end of story. I wouldn't even waste my time on anything else.

They are supposed to bring a diesel. Watching for that.

The Evoque is pretty damn good.
And it comes in a coupe.

I actually think that thing is ugly as sin. Plus, you can't see out the back worth a shit.
Nope. It's Macan or nothing.

My Dad had a first gen Cayenne S. It did drive better than any other full size (and heavy as fuck) SUV
A couple people from Oppo have driven the Macan S and said it was excellent

SQ5 Audi would be a close second.

Perhaps the next-gen with the updated interior would give the Macan some better competition. But yeah, as it stands, the SQ5 would be second in my book, but still distant enough as to make no difference in choice.

They have a gorgeous blue Turbo at the local dealer with the big 5 spoke 21" wheels and the sport design kit and the black LED headlamps. It's so fucking hot.

I'll be waiting for CPO Macan S in a couple years.

It should be good. The SQ5 has rave reviews, and this is a better SQ5 in every way.

I didn't know the SQ5 got rave reviews
And yeah this is supposed to be WAY better
Porsche supposedly spent more time and money making the chassis work for them than they would have just making the car from scratch like they did the Panamera. They apparently were really unhappy with their initial efforts to make the Q5 chassis feel like a Porsche.

I got a ride in a 2004 Cayenne S with the V8. The driver was a 50 year old friend of my father who drove on full tilt without even caring. He was having delightful conversation at 50 MPH tight corners.
The Cayenne was SUBLIME, hence my appreciation of them.

my papa had that very same car!
it was a great car
i just never got comfy driving it hard cause i'm not used to tall and heavy cars. my mind tells me "no this isn't safe" even when the car can take it

I know everyone at Autoblog loves the SQ5.
BTW how was the reliability on your dads Cayenne S?

My mind thinks: "Alright, lets see where this car will go."
Safe to say my mind has to exercise to be to Cayenne levels.

Their blues are beautiful.
![]() 03/28/2015 at 00:28 |

it was really good
Zero issues with stuff breaking
The regular maintenace was just pricey
It chewed up brakes and tired cause it was so heavy

can u import Ferraris ?
U must have 348
They're cheap

Crazy I feel the same way, just something ingrained in my head that this thing can flip over if I take this turn at that speed. the lower center of gravity in a sedan or coupe feels more comfortable.

It's like when people who have never been in a race car with massive aero go on track. Their brains can't get used to how late you are able to brake. It just doesn't compute.
![]() 03/28/2015 at 01:06 |

I've never experienced either :'(
![]() 03/28/2015 at 01:07 |

Don't feel bad
I've only been in the Cayenne
Very few people have been on track in a full on modern race car with hard core aero
![]() 03/28/2015 at 01:15 |

I'll settle for a track with a sports at with some aero!
![]() 03/28/2015 at 01:19 |

I second that!

Yeah they are. They have great colors in general.

haha I guessed it
I'm decent at reading auto correct mistakes
But not good at avoiding making them

Since I don't want to make a post about it but I do want to tell someone:
Today in a strip mall parking lot near my house I came across the most amazing C63 White and black wheels. So I pulled up next to it, motioned the 20% tint window down and when the window did come down in it was a beautiful Thai looking girl sitting with some dude.
I asked them (actually her) to rev it, the dude in the passenger seat says "What? Reb it? (with a b)" I look at him and say no rev it look at her and said "She knows what I mean" she smiled and let that shit go and it sounded like a fuckin shotgun went off next to me it sounded amazing so I smiled and said that sounds fuckin awesome, thanked them and drove off.
Today was the first time I questioned my relationship lol I need a Thai chick with a C63 now!

Haha that's awesome!
"reb it", lol
Now I want a Thai chick with a C63 too, haha. I got no chick so it wouldn't be cheating, lol
